Days following the first-ever WitcherCon occured online, Netflix has shared a teaser trailer of their new anime movie feature The Witcher: Nightmare from the Wolf. The film continues to be animated by Studio MIR and stars a more youthful form of Vesemir – the daddy figure and mentor of Geralt.
Based on The Witcher showrunner, Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, the animation shows what Kaer Morhen along with a bigger brotherhood might have once appeared as if in front of the live-action form of The Witcher season two. And here is a more official description from Netflix:
“The field of The Witcher expands within this anime origin story: Before Geralt, there is his mentor Vesemir — a swashbuckling youthful witcher who steered clear of a existence of poverty to slay monsters for gold coin. CD Projekt Red also confirmed at WitcherCon that The Witcher 3: Wild Search – Complete Edition could be receiving some free DLC inspired by The Witcher series on Netflix.
