NULU Fest has been canceled due to COVID-19, the NULU Business Association announced Tuesday.
“It is with deep regret that I have to inform you that the NULU Business Association Board has unanimously voted to cancel NULU Fest,” said NULU Business Association President Rick Murphy. “Our festival is free and it typically draws a lot of families with children. We have no way to check for vaccination or Covid testing status.”
The street festival typically features local business vendors, such as food and craft breweries and has live music. It usually takes place on East Market Street.
The festival will return in 2022, Murphy said.
“We hope everyone will continue to support our local businesses if it is safe for you to do so,” he said. “They are an important part of our neighborhood and a vital part of our economy.”
