Guy banned from American Airlines for everyday living soon after assaulting a flight attendant FBI investigating

A violent passenger was arrested on Wednesday evening for assaulting a flight attendant even though traveling from Cabo to Los Angeles Intercontinental Airport on an American Airlines (AA) flight.

The flight departed from Los Cabos Global Airport in San José del Cabo, Mexico en route to Los Angeles Intercontinental Airport (LAX). Circulating video demonstrates the flight attendant strolling absent from the suspect though the flight was mid-air. 

Right after the employee’s again is turned, the assailant is noticed jogging up to the victim and punching him in the again of the head.  The suspect then jumps all-around erratically just before going for walks back to his seat. 

Authorities arrested the suspect after the plane landed safely at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is investigating the assault. The suspect’s identification has not been released.

The incident was verified by American Airlines in a statement to Fox News Digital.  The airline emphasized that acts of violence towards staff customers “are not tolerated” and that the passenger is banned from long term AA flights.

“The particular person concerned in this incident will never ever be permitted to vacation with us in the long term, and we will work closely with legislation enforcement in their investigation,” the statement browse.

American Airlines said the violent passenger was banned from all AA flights for life after the assault.

“Our views are with our injured flight attendant, and we are ensuring that they and their fellow crew users have the assistance they need to have at this time,” the spokesperson included.

American Airways also thanked their crew for handling the incident skillfully and quickly.

Because the assault took place in the air, the incident is being investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
